violent protests breaking out in washington, d.c. near the inauguration parade. the noise you just heard was the sound of grenades, riots breaking windows and burning trash cans. police have already arrested nearly 100 people. at least two officers are hurt. back here in philadelphia, students took to the streets to make their voices heard on inauguration day. both high school and college students head to the bell tower at temple university. they protested a wide range of issues from women's rights to racial and economic issues. also, a big turnout at up pennsylvania mall tonight to send the message of unity. dozens of groups from all backgrounds joined in to take collective oath. they're encouraging everyone to work together for positive changes in bridge communities together. speakers touched on number of issues including racial and economic justice. similar marches planned in hundreds of other cities. after being sworn in, the president had a chance to finally do all the things he promised in his campaign. lucy is in washington, d.c.

and we now know two adults lost their lives in the fire this afternoon in chester. fox 29's dave kinchen is live at the scene in chester tonight with developing details. dave? >> reporter: iain, these details couldn't to develop as we speak. we can tell you neighbors say that they heard an explosion followed by screams before the fire. smoke rises from a house on the 1,000 block of morton avenue in chester a midday fire claiming lives of two brothers in their 30s and fours according to neighbors. >> very nice. very nice. they stayed to themselves. you know, yeah, so sad. >> reporter: marsha benton lives two doors down from the victims and tells fox 29 they lived with their mother and a disabled relative. >> in shock kind of, you know. just in shock. it's still unbelievable. >> i can't believe this is happening. >> a lot of smoke coming out the house. it was horrible. i feel for the family. >> reporter: neighbors say they watched the home burn for

hospital tonight. no word on his condition as of now. police have not released any other details about the shooter or a motive. in bakersfield, california, some people are upset after some newly released surveillance video shows police using what many are calling excessive force. check out the video shows two sheriff deputes arresting a man at a convenience store. the suspect's attorney is planning to file a complaint against those officers claiming they used unnecessary force. the men were responding to calls of a customer acting erratically and threatening other people you see they throw the guy to the ground. the sheriff's office says it is investigating. aisle sign of hope in italy tonight after avalanche buried a hotel in the mountain region near rome. rescue workers found 10 people alive including four children. two days after that mass save snow slide some of their spirits seemed to be high a young girl asked for a cookie as soon as she got out. local official are saying it's a miracle is underway. still about 20 others are still missing.

lot more. it's all on our website fox29.com. happening right now, in west philadelphia, family and friends of a local high school student shot to death on sunday are getting ready to gather for a vigil later tonight. 16-year-old sean deed died after someone shot him execution style as he sat in his father's store on north 52nd street. sean's brother he just immigrated from america to jamaica four months ago after they are father saved to give the child a better life. police have not made any arrests as of yet. tonight's vigil will take place 57th and haverford at 7:00 o'clock. in wilmington, delaware, police just made arrest in month's old murder mystery authorities say 28-year-old don bay killed donald tucker back in june. police arrested bay today in wilmington on murder charges. there's no word yet on a motive. back to your fox 29 weather authority. we take live look at allentown. on what was a pretty dreary friday out there. we'll be dealing with rain all

weekend long. let's fine out check in with meteorologist scott williams in just 15 seconds. today we saw about a tenth of an inch to quarter of an inch of rainfall across the area. but more unsettled weather over the next several days, but not a complete washout for the weekend. it does look like the driest day will be tomorrow then we keep tabs on a developing nor'easter. live look right now outside of our studios. still showing kind of damp and dreary weather 41 degrees right now. that's our high temperature for today. temperatures will hold pretty steady if you're stepping outdoors for your friday evening plans we'll keep that cloud cover around but also watch out for developing areas of fog kind of misty and just dang if you're stepping outdoors looking at overnight temperatures 41 in the city.

right around 36 degrees in the suburbs. tomorrow it's mostly cloudy. it's milder temperatures will top out right around 54 degrees. but as we look at ultimate doppler right now here's the first round of rain. that's pulling away so most of us we're drying out although we will keep that fog around for tonight. now, the next batch of rain look at the clock. moving ahead towards sunday morning around 6am we're looking at some moderate to heavy rainfall once again with that batch likely a tenth to quarter of an inch of rain. then sunday night into monday that's round three and that will bring the heaviest of the rainfall we're talking about over an inch perhaps two to maybe 3-inches for some locations. so here's the rainfall forecast through monday at 3:00 p.m. an inch around the poconos maybe two to perhaps 3-inches of rainfall from philadelphia to shore points take look at those winds. gusting up to 30 miles an hour this is sunday evening. then look at the clock as we

move toward monday at 7:00 a.m. how long winds we're talking gusts down the shore likely up to 50 miles an hour, 43 miles an hour gusts philadelphia. wilmington 46 miles an hour gusts. and we keep those gusty winds throughout the day on monday. so we could be talking about some power outages across the area once again as we head into monday. so cloudy and unsettled sunday into monday once again that next batch is sunday morning with light rain. the heaviest of the rainfall the timing is sunday evening into monday. one to two or more inches of rain and then the bigger story we're talking about those gusty winds with that nor'easter. 35 to 45 miles per hour but gusting up to 50 miles an hour down the shore. so certainly keep it to fox 29 throughout the weekend as we kind of update this unsettled period and the wind threat but for tomorrow, once again we keep the clouds but that will be the driest of the two weekend days and temperatures on sunday right around 52 degrees. evening rainfall and then we

festivities continue in washington, d.c. there's mr. trauma many and vice-president pence clapping along enjoying the festivities. barricade situation in kensington has police still looking for a suspected gunman tonight. police showed up to home on the 3600 block of frankford avenue this morning to serve an arrest warrant for a 23-year-old man. they say he suspected of shooting three people in august including a 12-year-old girl. when they showed up, they saw movement in the home but no one answer answered the door the swat team showed up and declared a barricade situation. >> there were four people inside the property that are not involved with the arrest that we safely evacuated from the property. once that was done, we conducted a search of the property. >> police did not find the suspect. he is still on the loose right now and is considered armed and dangerous. in philadelphia castor neighborhood police are searching for the man who tried to abduct a little girl. police say this guy tried to snatch a five-year-old who was
